When my grandmother was living with us this spring, she reminisced about being around Spenser's age and watching her grandmother rally the women in their community and work for women to get the right to vote. That's right, it really wasn't that long ago that women were silent in our government. We've had that right for less than one hundred years. Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in our everyday lives, and neglect to exercise that right. Please don't let that happen to you. Each and every one of you are an intelligent person whose voice should be heard. Obviously I would prefer if you vote for my candidate, but at least get out and vote!
